LENSOLUX GRAND SERIES 10 x 42 ED+ wide-angle binoculars with 10-fold magnification and 42mm front lens diameter

ED-glass (Extra-Low-Dispersion-Glass) is a special fluoride-rich glass melt from the so-called „apochromatically corrected lenses“. These are optics with 3 lenses of different glass grades. ED glass effectively compensates for color errors, i. E. Colored portions of a light beam are refracted to different degrees – visible as a color fringe along edges. This effect contributes to images with superior contrast and outstanding resolution. The result is exceptionally detailed, color-accurate and plastic pictures.

ED glass is more expensive to manufacture and process, and therefore more expensive than conventional glass without these properties. Therefore also the higher price for lenses from this production.

We offer an additional special feature that increases the quality of the built-in lenses: a „dielectric“ coating of the BAK-4 prisms. As a result, the degree of light transmission (light transmittance) is significantly increased (approximately 93% for our LENSOLUX GRAND SERIES binoculars) and an even higher color fastness and edge sharpness is achieved. The ED+ stands for this additional and complex coating. The large field of view from 100 m to 1,000 m distinguishes these binoculars as wide-angle binoculars.

This new feature makes the new LENSOLUX GRAND SERIES ED + series from our house an ideal companion for all nature lovers, whether hunters, birdwatchers or hikers.

Modern, compact design supports the functionality and quality of our new glasses: the so-called open hinge allows the binoculars to be conveniently held and operated simultaneously with one hand. The good balance allows the glass to lie well in the hand, allowing fatigue-free observation over a longer period of time. Ergonomically shaped thumb bottoms and a robust rubber armouring with a grippy structure increase the comfortable handling. Adjustable eyepieces in 3 different positions allow the user to find the right eye relief for each user. The body made of a light but resistant magnesium alloy reduces the weight to approx. 740g.

The supply includes a practical carrying strap as well as ocular and lens protection caps, which effectively protect against water, dust and dirt. A robust bag with carrying strap, cleaning cloth and a detailed description of how the optics are adjusted for the respective user are also included.

LENSOLUX GRAND SERIES ED+ – an excellent price-performance ratio, which is hardly available in this class.
